我国早期物理学名词的翻译及演变

在明清时期引进西学的过程中，名词术语的问题相当重要。我国科技术语的翻译方法和定名原则在１９世纪下半叶逐渐基本确立。物理学名词的翻译和演变，与物理学知识的学习和吸收相辅相成。至清末，一些基础词汇已具有现今译名相似，甚至完全相同的形式。

TRANSLATION AND EVOLUTION OF PHYSICAL TERMS IN CHINA DURING THE MING-QING PERIOD

The problem of scientific terms was of great significance in the process of absorbing Western knowledge in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In China,the translation methods and denomination principles were on the whole gradually formulated during the second half of the 19th century.The translation and evolution of physical terms were complementary to the learning and absorbing of physical knowledge. Towards the end of the Qing Dynasty, some basic translated terms were similar to or exactly the same as those used now.
