西周明堂建筑起源考

西周明堂是见于史料记载的一座重要的、涉及周天子祭天、布政等重要礼仪活动的建筑。但是，有关它的功能和型制，既无西周时的史料记载，又无建筑实物遗存，成为一个众说纷纭的问题，从西汉至明甭及至近现代，诸多学者论道颇多。该文结合历史文献与原始社会至殷商的建筑考资料，通过对西周明堂起源的探讨，论证西周明堂是一座集天子祭天、布政于一体的大内正朝建筑。

TEXTUAL RESEARCH ON THE ORIGIN OF MING-TANG BUILDING IN WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY

The Western Zhou Ming-Tang was an important building which was recorded in historical docments from the Han to the Qing Dynasty and related to the nitual activi ties of the emperors of the Western Zhou Dynasty.Because neither Western Zhou documents nor the building itself have been preserved, there were a lot of opinions about its function.This paper discusses the origin of the building,by combining the archaeological discoveries with historical documents,in order to prove that the building was Imperial Court in which Western Zhou emperors worshiped Heaven and issued orders.
