先秦云梯形制辨

该文主要从先秦文献中所载之楼车及云梯形制，说明二者实有相同之功能，即用以窥伺敌军。从汉儒服《左传》时引用《兵法》一书，即提供了一项较少为右来学界注意的材料。后人由于二者名称各不相同，乃以二者并不相涉；文中则典籍所载，提出所谓“飞楼”者，当为设于云梯上用来观察敌情之塔楼，以证二者理应极有关系。

TEXTUAL RESEARCH ON THE FORM OF SCALING LADDER IN PRE-QIN PERIOD

From the names "Turreted chariot" and "Scaling ladder", they are two different types of weapons in the siege of the city in the old days. According to Wu Jing Zong Yao (Collection of the mostimportant Military Techniques) by Zeng Gong-liang of the Song Dynasty and Wu Bet Zhi (Records of War Preparations) by Mao Yuanyi of the Ming Dynasty, they are, in fact,two different types of equipment. However, this was only a result of differentiation,transformation and integration of weapons since the Tang Dynasty. In the Pre-Qin period,'Turreted chariot'and 'Scaling ladder' had similar functions such as intelligence enemies collection. Ancient records had shown that they were equivalent. This writing tried to have a simply study of this multi-functional equipment from the Pre-Qin period- 'Turreted chariot' and discussed the problems generated by ancient's and today's scholars against their wrong understanding of the Pre-Qin "Scaling ladder".
