| Abstract: | During the Spring and Aurumn Period and the Warring States Period,thoughts on military geography had been the most active and made a great impact on laterages in ancient China. This paper deals with the main contents of the thoughts of militarygeography in the two periods through the research of military signiticance of "ix"(geographical environment), and especially the role of topography in the war,which were discussed inmajor ancient military treatises. |
