Magnetoresistivity Measurement of Magnetic Film

The methods of non line four point probe have been adopted for detecting anistropic magnetoresistivity of magnetic films. In practice, the accuracy of measurement was often affected by the deviation of probe locations. A mean deviation of probe factor M r has been discussed through the analysis of different four type of probes arrangements. It is suggested that the six point probe can bring about a greater improvement in the accuracy of measurement than the old one because of the symmetry of the current probe position, which can avoid the measurement error resulting from the deviation of probe location.
