| 摘 要： | 1900～1949年间北京城区教育(特别是高等教育)的发展,带动了城市空间的变迁,成为维护城市的文化中心地位、支撑城市经济生活的关键因素.书肆和戏曲、曲艺则是显示北京传统文化特色的突出标志.教育、书肆、戏曲、曲艺的地理分布与变迁,构成了城市文化空间演变的重要内容,并为建设当代北京文化提供了有益的参考.

| Abstract: | Institutions of higher learning, bookstores and traditional operas (especially Beijing opera) are the essential factors that reflect the cultural geographical features in Beijing proper from 1900 to 1949. During this time, above factors had been changed to varying degrees by the historic cultural tradition and social changes. The experience of the past will be the reference for cultural construction in modern Beijing. |
