半无限一维光子晶体在满足平均折射率等于零时的表面态

摘    要:运用传输矩阵方法和Bloch定理,研究了以色散介质为背景,半无限一维光子晶体在满足平均折射率等于零条件下的表面波特性,发现在一定的堆积次序下存在群速度为负的表面态,此时表面波的波矢和能流方向相反,并讨论了该情况下表面态的模式简并情况。

Abstract:The transfer matrix and the Bloch theorem are employed to analyse the dispersion behaviour of localized surface states supported in the surface of a semi-infinite one-dimensional photonic crystals,which is adjacent to a dispersive medium,under the condition that the average refractive index equals zero.There will be negative group velocity of the surface modes at suitable stack sequences;in this case,the energy flow is backward with respect to the wave vector.And we discuss the mode degeneracy of surface states under this circumstance.
