摘    要:点采样几何作为一种新的曲面表示方式,无需存储维护全局一致的拓扑信息,能对复杂的3D模型进行高效的绘制和灵活的几何处理,受到了广泛关注。详细分析了近20年来基于点的计算机图形学的发展过程,对计算机图形学中基于点的技术框架作了详细的介绍,特别是点云表示、点云造型、点云绘制等方面的新近展。通过介绍点造型表示、造型、绘制的基本思想,分析比较相应的关键技术,提出了一些未来研究建议。

Abstract:As an alternative surface representation, point-based geometry neither has to store nor to maintain globally consistent topological information. It can both process shape flexibly and render appearance efficiently of extremely complex 3D model, therefore it has experienced a major renaissance in recent years. A comprehensive survey of point-based computer graphics was proposed. After introducing the general framework of point-based technical, various up-to-date shape representations, geometric algorithms and rendering methods were reviewed evaluated, which used points as a universal graphics primitive. At last, some challenges together with the future directions of point-based computer graphics were indicated, and an extensive bibliography was also provided.
