一种光纤一体化光控毫米波波导功率开关

摘    要:研制了E面矩形波导中国载硅片作为光控介质的光控微波开关采用光纤将激光脉冲光束通过SELFOC透镜引入,实现光控微波功率开关的功能。这种开关的插入损耗小于1dB,脉冲响应快于0.05μs,开关比优于42dB,测试频率在8mm波段。

Abstract:A new type of laser controllable semiconductor loaded E plane millimeter waveguide switch is presented, which uses a special structure to introduce optical pulse beam with optical fiber. The on/off ratio of such kind switch reaches over 40 dB, the front fringe is less than 0.05 microsecond, and the insertion loss is less than 1 dB in the full band of 26.5 GHz to 40 GHz. It is showed that the switch can be applied in high power millimeter wave system.
