| Abstract: | This paper details with the study of the whole procedure of synthetic ground environment in distributed virtual environment. The procedure of generating synthetic ground environment database by integrating various geographic information is introduced; then, large scale terrain database management method and a real time loading algorithm are presented; an architecture to support dynamic terrain environment consistency is also provided. |
