The Application of Type Ⅲ Iodine Adsorber at Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant

Iodine adsorber which is widely used in nuclear power plant ventilation system is the core equipment to reduce the gaseous radioactive emission levels by absorbing the radioactive iodine in the air,and it can also secure the residence of master control room /technical support center. This paper mainly elaborated the application of the Type Ⅲ iodine adsorberadsorbent and the way to use the loading and unloading machine,etc. in Sanmen Nuclear Power co.,LTD. Meanwhile,it introduced the advantage of type Ⅲ iodine adsorber and the main application system at nuclear power plants.
