| Abstract: | Xinjiang is the largest cotton producing area in China. It has great natural superiorities, producting potentialities and broad market prospects. This article starts with above with an attempt to provide a new understanding of the theories of both economics and geography, and to discuss the four relationships which we must deal with in building the cotton base. Some constructive suggestions have been put forward about these. |
