| Abstract: | In the theroy of multiscale analysis,orthogonality and biorthogonality of wavelets can be characterized by their corresponding filting funcitons.An improvement of the characterization for biorthogonality,which is an sufficient and necessary condition and valid for both orthogonality and biorthogonality,is obtained. |
