| Abstract: | The effects of the proportion of iongitudinal steel reinforcing members, spacing of shear reinforcements and concrete aggregate on the property of beam were investigated. A calculation method is givento the beam for its ultimate bearing capacity. Also,an expresston is derived for predicting the beam deflectionwhich takes into account the slipping effect at the interface between concrete and steel. |
