| 摘 要： | 习语中比喻用法从喻体和喻义的角度可分为:喻体完全相同或大体相同,喻义相同;喻体不同,喻义相同;喻体相同,喻义不同;喻体不同,喻义不同等。该文通过这四个方面对英汉习语中比喻用法进行比较,并提出一些翻译的方法。

| Abstract: | In English and Chinese idioms, same or similar vehicles are chosen to express the same, similar or different metaphorical meanings; different vehicles are chosen to express the same or different metaphorical meanings. This paper compared the usages of the figure of speech in English and Chinese idioms from the angles of vehicle and metaphorical meanings and then puts forward some methods on contrastive translation of English and Chinese idioms. |
