| 摘 要： | 通过对公共场所双语标志规范地方标准及相关文件的对比研究,指出在街道路牌的通名部分使用拼音还是意译、通名意译面临的尴尬处境、地名罗马字母大小写、街道路牌的规范工作中民政部门和质监部门的权属以及协调、采用国际化策略还是本地化策略等五个方面,还存在着认识不统一、标准不严谨,甚至违背国家法规及相关强制性标准等问题,对此进行了厘清与论述,希望能对道路交通双语标志规范的标准制定起到借鉴作用。

| Abstract: | After a comparative study of standardizations and documents of alphabetical spelling of road and street names in China,the author points out that some measures must be taken on the following five aspects：（1） prevent confusion about alphabetical spelling of generic terms in road and street names;（2） avoid problems caused by the translation approach to generic terms;（3） unify different ideas on English translation and Pinyin against the background of international and local thinking;（4） define duties of civil administration and quality supervision departments responsible for road and street names;（5） standardize capitalization of road and street names. |
