| Abstract: | The Analects was edited by Confucian disciples after Confucius' return to the State of Lu from Wei,and it was accomplished between 481 BC and 480 BC when Confucius was still alive.Confucius had provided some materials for the edition of the Analects.The Analects which was accomplished before Confucius' death includes 90 percent of chapters of current version,and the others were accomplished in the revision of the Analects after Confucius' death. |
