| 摘 要： | 名词肿胀症是指句子里名词使用过多，造成句子冗长、沉闷、费解。通过举例，从动词替代名词、动名词替代名词，形容词或副词替代名词、添加介词、添加连字符、添加其它成分字6个方面指出修改方法，旨在使句子层次清晰，语言直接，符合逻辑。

| Abstract: | The noun plague is one of the faults in Chinese-English translation because excessive use of abstract nouns makes sentences complicated, long-winded, ponderous and obscure. The author presents lots of examples and provides six different ways to modify them in order to make the sentences clearer, more straightforward and logical. |
