| Abstract: | The surveying error theory is to establish the precision index of the surveying data, and to analyze the transmitting rule between surveying date and its function. Information theory focuses on the information source, information channel and information home. Its goal is to describe and optimize the information model based on information quantity. This paper analyzes the relationship between information entropy and variance of stochastic variables, and presents that information entropy can be used as a measure to evaluate the surveying data. It also presents that error?transmitting rule is a special case of information communication under Gaussian information source and information channel. |
