郝苏民先生长期从事民族学、民俗学、蒙古学的教学与研究工作。他在科学研究中强调民族间民间文化相互影响、各自变迁、互化，认为中华民族史就是各民族共同开发、保护和建设“一体中国”的过程。多元一体是相对独立又相互渗透、相互依存的文化现象。我国56个民族创造了自己的文明源点，并在历史的文化传承和传播中，既保持特色又彼此渗透而形成相互依存、统一而不能分割的整体，在经济、文化、政治等方面凝结成一个共休戚、共存亡、共荣辱、共命运的价值追求。

An Interview with Mr Hao Su-min,A Famous Expert on Folklore

Mr Hao Su-min has long been engaged in teaching and research in ethnology, folklore, and linguis-tics. Mr Hao Su-min has paid more attention to ethnic students and researchers. In his scientific research, he at-tachs importance to the interaction and changes of folk culture of ethnic groups, and believes that the Chinese history is the process of the development, protection and construction of＆quot;one China＆quot;by all ethnic groups togeth-er, and the long-term interaction of nomadic and farming civilization has made the culture of different ethnic groups interwoven each other.
