Subject Librarian and Bibliographic Information Service in Colleges and Universities

Under the network environment, the contradiction between the rapid growth of information resources and people’s specific information needs is becoming more and more severe, and traditional bibliographic information service is facing a great challenge. This paper probes into the problem of how university’s subject librarians to improve the quality of bibliographic information service for serving better the teaching and scientific research.
