TiC-TiB2复合陶瓷的自蔓延高温合成

摘    要:依据热力学理论计算了Ti和B4C反应的绝热温度为3230K,说明该反应放出大量的热,反应能够自发维持。采用自蔓延高温合成与同时致密化工艺(SHS/PHIP)制备了TiC-TiB2复合陶瓷,XRD及SEM分析表明,合成的产物纯净、无中间相出现,而且由于TiC-TiB2复合陶瓷组织中长条形状TiB2相的存在,使得该材料的力学性能相对较高。

Abstract:Adiabatic temperature 3230 K. of reaction between Ti and B4C were calculated using thermodynamic theory. The result showed that the reaction of these proportions release much heat, so the reaction went on. TiB2-TiC ceramics were produced by Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis and Pseudo Hot Isostatic Pressing. The results of XRD and SEM analysis showed that the final product was pure and no interphases appeared. The mechanical properties of TiC/2TiB2 were improved because the elongated plate-like TiB2 existed in the microstructure.
