Deliberations on the English Teaching Strategies in Web-Based Environment

The main content of the thesis belongs to the extended discussion on the research of a teacher's varied roles in the web-based environment.Its main points show clearly that the teaching strategies govern teachers'teaching behaviors,which govern teachers'roles,which directly guide the teacher-role-activities.Accordingly a careful discussion about the teaching strategies will certainly help us get a deeper understanding of a teacher's roles in the web-based environment and help us be adapted to the change of a teacher's role in order to construct a rational teaching format.The thesis will carry out a pondering and a discussion on the following issues: the general notion and the fundamental characteristics of the teaching strategies,the theoretical grounding guiding the teaching conception in the web-based environment,the characteristics of foreign language teaching strategies and their construction in this environment.
