| 摘 要： | <正> 1982年3月、1983年2月及1984年2月三次在湖北省秭归县归州镇叱溪河(当地俗称小河)与长江会合处,叱溪河西岸与长江北岸之间,与河水隔绝的水潭中采得数量极多的淡水水母。该处水母年年出现,从10月至次年3月均可采得,以2月间数量最多。归州镇人民称淡水水母为桃花鱼,家喻户晓,争相捕捉,在家饲养观赏。一般不喂食物,数日换一次水,淡 |
A NEW SPECIES OF FRESHWATER MEDUSA FROM HUBEI |

| Abstract: | In March 1982, February 1983 and February 1984, hundreds of freshwater medusae were collected from a pool around the Chixi river in Guizhou town, Zigui, Hubei Province. After a preliminary study, It is suggest that this animal beidentified as a new species of Genus Craspedacusta. The type specimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Xinxiang Normal College, Henan. |
