摘    要:本文给出了方腔中二维自然对流问题的特征—有限元算法,由于对流项沿特征线离散,既保证了计算格式的无条件稳定性,又可以使用较大的时间步长,并且求解微分方程组时,在总体上实行迭代,一定程度上提高了计算精度

Abstract:This paper gives the finite element method combined with a modified method of characteristics for two-dimensional transient natural convection problems.Because convection term is discretized along characteristics,the calculating scheme is not only stable ,but also permit to use larger time steps ,furthermore ,the overall iteration is used when the differential equations are solved ,so that the accuracy of the result may be improved to some extent.
