On Application of Case Teaching Methodology in Public Management Courses

"Public Management" is a highly comprehensive and application-oriented discipline, and the use and extension of case teaching methodology is of vital significance for the realization of the teaching objectives of public management courses and for the training of public management personnel.This paper expounds the connotation, characteristics and theoretical basis of case teaching, and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of its application in public management courses and the problems existing in the process of its extension.Finally, some suggestions are offered for the improvement of the adoption of this methodology in public management courses.
