The Development and Utilization of Foreign Periodicals in the New Period

Connecting with the working practice,this paper puts forward some measures for increasing the utilization ratio of the foreign periodicals and developing the foreign periodical resources,the first is to familiarize the utilization situation and collection quality of the foreign periodical resources,the second is to increase the utilization ratio and retrieval points of the foreign periodicals,the third is to provide the literature service of the foreign periodicals through utilizing the online information resources,the fourth is to extend the service scope of the foreign periodical work,and the fifth is to strengthen the service consciousness and quality of the personnel for the management of the foreign periodicals.
