| 摘 要： | 采用等效矩形波导法分析几何双折射光纤的双折射特性,并对双包层椭圆光纤及边隧光纤作实例分析.本方法简便,计算量小,并且与用精确数值计算等较繁难的方法所得结果有较好的符合,便于实际应用.

| Abstract: | Birefringent properties of geometrical birefringent optical fibers are analysed by using the method of equivalent waveguide with rectangular regions. Applications of the method are illustrated by double elliptic cladding fibers and side-tunnel fibers,and the results of this method agree well with those of accu- rate numerical methods.This method is simple and time saving. |
