摘    要:为实现高质量低能耗的图像无线传输,提出了一种最小化无线传输整幅图像能耗的新方法.分析了发送一个数据帧和接收其反馈帧的过程中传输系统的能耗和一定重传次数内图像数据帧的平均传输时间和丢帧率,提出具有时延和质量双重约束的图像数据帧能耗最小化问题的数学模型.采用跨层最优化策略,并通过联合优化传输过程中每个图像数据帧各自的调制编码模式、重传限制和数据帧每次传输的发射功率,来最小化无线传输整幅图像所需的总的系统能量.仿真实验结果表明,与目前一些具有代表性的高能效无线传输方案相比,提出的方法能够在保证图像质量和传输时延的基础上显著降低图像无线传输所需的总能耗.

Abstract:To achieve high quality low power wireless image transmission, this paper addresses a new method to minimize the energy consumption of wireless transmission of the entire image. First we analyze the transmission energy of that which transmits one payload frame and receives the corresponding feedback frame. Then, under a certain number of retransmissions, the average transmission time and frame drop rate (FDR) of the image data frames are considered. A mathematical model of the energy minimization problem for image data with delay and quality constraints is proposed. Finally, a crosslayer optimization strategy is applied. By joint adaptation each image data frame''s modulation and coding scheme (MCS),retransmission limit and each transmission power,we minimize total energy consumption for wireless transmission the entireimage data. Simulation results show that compared with several recent representative methods, our method can significantly reduce the total energy consumption required for image transmission without violating the image quality and transmission delay constraints.
