高温气冷堆包覆燃料颗粒破损率研究

摘    要:包覆燃料颗粒是高温气冷堆燃料元件的关键组成部分,是阻挡放射性裂变产物释放的主要屏障。包覆燃料颗粒的破损率是一项直接影响高温气冷堆运行安全特性的重要质量监控指标。采用燃烧-硝酸浸取法(在 850 ℃空气中灼烧, 9h; 90 ℃, 7mol/L HNO3, 10h)对包覆燃料颗粒的破损率进行了测试研究。制定了测试流程,给出包覆燃料颗粒的自由铀含量与浸取时间的关系曲线,确定了最佳的试验温度、硝酸浓度和浸取时间等测试条件,并对6组包覆燃料颗粒破损率测试结果进行了分析讨论。

Abstract:The coated fuel particle (CP) is the key component of the fuel element of the high temperature gas cooled reactor (HTGR). The radioactive fission products are mainly retained by CP. The quality of CP has direct effect on the safety characterization of HTGR. The failure rate of CP is one of the important items for quality control. The failure fraction of as-fabricated CP was investigated and measured by burn-leaching test. The free uraniumleaching time relation was obtained. The optimum condition of testing temperature, the concentration of nitric acid solution, the leaching time, etc were determined. The failed particle fractions of six samples were measured and evaluated.
