| Abstract: | The geological feautres, genesis and mineralization process of the sillimanite deposit located in Shanbig-Gangli area, Putian County, Fujian are discussed. The mineralography, grain size and the mosaic structure of this mineral deposit as well as results from experimentation in the mineral processing and the refractoriness of the products made from the sillimanite are studied. These offer the foundation for the exploration and utilization of the sillimanite in that area. |
