| Abstract: | This paper is a review of the theoretical and experimental investigations In optical bistabili-ty ,a branch of nonlinear optics. The basic OB theory was discribed briefly. Several theoretical models made to meet the experimental results in the nonlinearity of exiton and the band-edge of semiconductors,CdS, GaAs, IbSb et.al. .were presented.Some experimental designs especially our own,in measurement of exiton absorption,were given. |
