基于Faraday效应的光纤陀螺频率响应测试方法

摘    要:为解决光纤陀螺全频带频率响应测试问题,提出了基于光纤陀螺Faraday效应的频率响应测试原理。用有限元法建立光纤环的传输模型,在使用高折射率光纤和光纤环固化条件下推导了光纤陀螺的Faraday效应输出模型,得出光纤陀螺Faraday效应输出与磁场强度成正比的结论。根据光纤陀螺的检测原理,分析了该测试方法与角振动台测试法的等效性。设计了模型验证实验,结果表明该方法可以克服角振动台测试法输出频率低的缺点,可以对光纤陀螺的全频带频率响应进行测试。

Abstract:A testing principle was developed for whole frequency band response testing problems in fiber optic gyroscopes based on the magneto-optic Faraday effect of the gyroscope. The transmission in the fiber coil was modeled using finite element analyse (FEA). The gyroscope's Faraday effect output model was derived assuming a high birefringence optical fiber and packaged fiber coil. The Faraday effect output is proportional to the magnetic field intensity. This method was compared with the dynamic test turn table method based on the principles of the gyroscope detection method. Experimental tests of the Faraday effect agree with the analytical results. This method eliminates the low frequency output limitation of the dynamic test turn table and can be used to test the whole frequency band response of the gyroscope.
