| Abstract: | Although great progress has been made after years of hard work, many problems remain unsolved with college English teaching. There is still a big gap between what has been achieved and what is expected in the context of reform, opening-up and economic globalization. This paper explores the problems with college English teaching and proposes some feasible measures that can possibly be taken to reform the syllabuses, teaching approaches and testing systems. |
