| Abstract: | Lex Xi be the strength of the component i, i= 1, 2, ..., n, and Y be the stress of the system. The reliability for k--out--of--n stress-strength system is given by Rk.n =P (at least k of the X1, ...,Xn exceed Y). When X1, ..., Xn are iid. having a extreme distribution (or a weibull distribution), Y havel a Normal distribution, the MVU estimation of Rk.n is given in this paper. |
