| Abstract: | The shiny black material, PbC20, obtained in the separation of isotopes with calutron and other methods at Oak Ridge National Laboratory,TN, USA in mid-1960's,would be lead fulleride (Pb3C60), because calculated density(3.2g/cm3)is very close to experbontal one (about 3.5g/cm3). It would be similar in structure to K3C60 or Rb3C60. Lead ions (Ph2+)were accommodated in the tetrahedral and Octahedral interstices in face-centred cubic structure of C60. |
