| Abstract: | The fundamental orientation of this paper is to discuss that English and Chinese have the same deep structure,but have different surface structure.Consequently,before translating the passive voice in EST,translator should understand what the deep structure is in English(source language).Furthermore,in the process of English-Chinese translating,the translator should give a corresponded surface structure of Chinese.The most essential is translator should get the deep structure and avoid losing the valuable information in the process of translating passive voice in scientific works. |
