支架理论在高职英语阅读教学中的应用

摘    要:阅读课在英语教学中处于重要地位,不仅语法、词汇可以在其基础上展开,其它技能如听、说、写的教学也往往和阅读教学存在密切联系。传统的英语阅读教学模式忽视了英语阅读是一门实践性很强的课程,造成学生学习动机的缺失,尤其体现在认知情境缺失、学习策略陈旧、交际能力薄弱等方面。如何上好阅读课,充分发挥教师的引领、带动作用,以及学生之间的互学互助,支架理论在这方面提供了新的认识和操作视角。

Abstract:The course of English reading plays a significant role in English teaching. The teaching of grammar and vocabulary can be developed on the basis of and that of listening, speaking and writing is often closely related to the teaching of reading. The traditional mode of teaching of English reading ignores the practicality of the course and resuhs in students' lack of learning motivation, especially reflecting on the aspects such as the loss of cognitive situation, staleness of learning strategy and weakness of communicating ability. The scaffolding theory provides a new view of recognition and operation tO the problem how to fulfill the instructing and guiding role of the teacher and promote students' learning and helping each other, to teach well the course of English reading.
