| 摘 要： | 本文从应用语言学和心理语言学的角度出发,分析了国内外语教学的历史及现状,并对图式理论在英语阅读教学中的重要地位进行了阐述,对该理论在阅读教学中的应用及教师所应采取的策略等几个方面进行了初步的探讨。

| Abstract: | Based on applied linguistics and psycholinguistics, after analyzing both the history and present standing of foreign language teaching at home, this article expounds the important role that schema theory plays in teaching reading in English. Meanwhile, this article also discusses how to apply this theory in teaching reading and what strategies language teachers should use. |
