随着淡水资源短缺问题突出、海水淡化技术的不断发展及其实际应用，利用海水淡化技术解决淡水资源短缺问题，越来越受到世界各国、各地区的重视，依据我国沿海地区淡水资源短缺的情况，从经济技术和可持续发展的角度分析和比较几种解决沿海地区淡水资源短缺问题的途径，探讨我国在海水淡化技术上的实力。论证我国发展海水淡化产业的迫切性、重要性及其前景，并提出了相关建议。

Analysis of the Alleviate Function of Desalinization on the Water Resource Shortage in China's Coastal Areas

With water resource shortage becoming increasingly serious and the constant development and practical utilization of desalinization, it is paid more and more attention by counties and areas all over the world to use desalinization to solve fresh water shortage. This article expounds situations of fresh water shortage in China's coastal areas, analyses several ways to solve the problem in terms of economy, technology and sustainable development. It also analyses China's technological standard in desalinization. On the base of all above, the author probes that it is urgent and important for China to develop desalinization industry, which is promising in China in the future. What's more, this article puts forward some relevant suggestions.
