Abstract:Based on practical running data of a wastewater treatment plant,the removal effect of modified A2/O process on treating urban wastewater with low carbon was studied.Results showed that the process was efficient in removing CODcr,NH3—N,and TP,with removal efficiency of CODcr,NH3—N and TP was respectively 66.7%,66.5% and 70.6%,Effluent concentration of CODcr NH3—N and TP were less than 40 mg/L,7 mg/L and 0.5 mg/L respectively,with removal efficiency of TN is 53.4%,effluent concentration of TN was less than 20 mg/L.The urban wastewater was satisfactory to Grade B of national discharge standard of GB18918-2002.
