On the Dual Interpretations of The Secret Agent

Joseph Conrad is regarded as one of the most prestigious novelists in the 20th century,and his works have been the focus of critics.However,his important novel,The Secret Agent,draws us little attention.Moreover,there are two different interpretations of the story and the theme,which results from different viewpoints on his anarchism.The paper aims to find out the causes of human ethical disintegration in his novel.
