Comparison Research on Rural Vocational Education Theories of Huang Yanpei and Tao Xingzhi

The rural education movement launched in the 1920's and 1930's was a great attempt to start a comprehensive reform of rural education and to put the rural area onto the track of modernization.Forerunners of the rural education movement,such as Huang Yanpei and TaoXingzhi had similar and different purposes,approaches,ideas,and understanding in carrying out rural education,which provide us with valuable experience and lessons for reference and study.Revitalizing the nation with science and education and undertaking a comprehensive reform of rural education at the late 20th century have been known as the historical evolution of the rural education beginning at the early 20th century.Consequently,the pioneering spirit,experience and lessons of the forerunners of rural education are still what we should learn and can benefit from today.
