| Abstract: | The effects of Cr3+ ions on the metastalbe zone width and the nucleation characteristic parameters of aqueous K2SO4 solution were investigated. It was observed that the solubilities werechanged and the metastable zone widths were increased in the presence of Cr3+.The influence of Cr3+on the metastable zone width may be the result of its effect on the nucleation and the rate of crystalgrowth. |
