纵观晕瀹法名词的发展，经历了几个阶段：未命名阶段，被称为“某某国之法”“测高之法”等；多个名词共用阶段，被称为“疏密界限法”“影线”“倾斜粗细法”；定名阶段，被称为“晕渝法”，然后沿用下来。而晕渝法最恰当的英文翻译可以用hachuring来表示。

The Evolution and Development of the Term ＂Hachuring＂ in Cartography

The development of hachuring has undergone several stages. In unnamed stage, hachuring was be called as English system, France system, German system and vertical lines, etc. In multi-names stage, hachuring was be called as shumijiexian fa,yingxian, qingxiecuxi fa. In named stage, it was single name called hachuring. Hachuring is the most appropriate for named ＂yunweng fa＂.
