| Abstract: | The authors consider the Newton-SOR method for solving systems of nonlinearequations.Under certain assumptions,the optimal relaxation factor and approximate method findingoptimal relaxation factor are given. Finally,a numerical example is given to show superiority ofapproximate optimum Newton-SOR method. |
