摘    要:比较研究了考虑能力异质特征的分类和混同锦标竞赛.通过建立博弈模型分别描述在高能力者之间的分类竞赛、低能力者之间的分类竞赛以及高能力者和低能力者之间的混同竞赛,求解得到奖励强度和保障强度两种因子,参赛者的努力水平和期望收益,以及委托人的期望利润等.研究发现:应该根据参与者的能力状况制定和调整锦标竞赛的奖励强度和保障强度;高能力者更希望参与混同竞赛去与低能力者竞赛,因为可以获得更高收益;低能力者并不关心竞争对手的能力高低,因为都只能获得保留收益;与混同竞赛相比,委托人通过分类竞赛可以得到更高期望利润.在企事业单位薪资晋级和体育竞技比赛等不同领域的应用表明,这些研究是基础性的因而可以广泛应用.

Abstract:This paper compares the sorted and pooled tournament incorporating the heterogeneous ability. By developing game models to describe the sorted tournament among agents with higher ability and that among the lower, and the pooled tournament between the higher and the lower respectively, the two factors including the prize intensity and security strength, the efforts level and the expected revenues of the participants, and the expected profits of the principal in every kind of tournament are solved. It is found that it is necessary to make and regulate the prize intensity and security strength according to the ability state of the participants. The agent with higher ability prefers the pooled tournament to compete with the lower, while the lower does not care about the ability of his competitors because he only can get the reservation revenue in both the sorted and pooled tournament. The principal prefers the sorted tournament because of more profits. The applications in the salary promotion of enterprises and institutions, and the sports competitions, indicate that the above conclusions are fundamental and hereby can be applied widely.
