古籍整理中语典的训释——以清人《荀子》校释为例

典故训释是古籍整理的一项重要工作,其中尤以语典的训释难度较大。笺注者往往会因未能察觉原文所用语典而以常语释之,或未能准确理解原文所用语典以及误解作者用典意图而出现误校或误释的情况。试以清人对《荀子》中语典的校释情况为例,对此略作论说。

Discussion on the language allusion in ancient books collation——taking the annotations on Xunzi by the Qing Dynasty＇s scholar as an example

The allusion annotating is an important work of ancient books collation. Particularly, one of the hardest is for the language allusion.There can be three kinds of mistakes： First, the glossographer perhaps interpreted the language allusion as a common prase because he had not found out the allusion. Second, the glossographer could make mistakes because he could not understand the allusion or misunderstand the allusion user＇s intention. We have discussed this question taking the annotations on Xunzi（《荀子》）by the Qing Dynasty＇s scholar as an example in this article.
