| Abstract: | Image scrambling is an effective method for image encryption. A digital holography based method for digital image scrambling is presented. A digital image to be encrypted is hidden in a random fashion and then can be reconstructed by use of one random phase mask. The theory is described, and the utility of this method for image scrambling and reconstruction is verified by computer simulation. |
