| Abstract: | With more and more importance being attached to vocabulary, both teachers and students have become aware of how important it as a language skill is for language learning. However, teachers seem to have failed to help students remember effectively. Even though they know the word - formation and do remember this word, their vocabulary is still limited. This paper analyses the prerequisites of effective memory. It also puts forward corresponding ways to help students to increase vocabulary. |
